Combating underrepresentation begins by amplifying the voices of those too often pushed aside. At AAAJ, we pledge to provide a platform for stories, perspectives, and experiences that highlight the diverse dimensions of Asian American life for those in the Appalachian region.
We welcome submissions from all writers, provided the following guidelines are met:

Length: 500–750 words

Format: Double-spaced, with 1-inch margins

Content: Must center on a topic relevant to Asian American culture (e.g., history, current events, food, identity, or community issues)

Visuals: Include at least one relevant image to accompany your piece (please ensure you have the image source)
